Liwa Oasis
Travel to Liwa Oasis and taste some of the dates grown there.
Lying 100 km south of the Persian Gulf coast, it houses some 50
villages. Seen from a distance, it is an oasis of green in a sea
of sand.
Al Ain
Known as "the water spring" this is the fourth largest city in the
United Arab emirates. Occupied for over two thousand years, it
has been a hub of human activity due to the underground water springs.
Hatta Watchtower
Visit Hatta which is a small enclave of the emirate. Climb the steep hill to get a view from the Hatta Watchtower.
Fujairah
This is the seventh emirate of the UAE. It is also the fifth
largest. This is an oil rich emirate. Previously it was a
British protectorate but it now self-ruled.
